When will my order be shipped?
Orders placed before 10:00 am AEST on business days are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 10:00 am AEST, on weekends, or on public holidays will be dispatched the next business day.
Delivery times may be extended during sale periods and peak seasons, where dispatch may take up to 2 business days.

Express Post delivery times are subject to Australia Post's network and are not guaranteed for all postcodes.
Estimated Delivery Timeframes
Once dispatched, please allow the following estimated delivery times:
- Metropolitan areas: 2–4 business days (Standard) or 1–2 business days (Express)
- Regional areas: 3–7 business days
- International destinations: 5–14 business days

Who does The Lair ship with?
Standard domestic orders are shipped via Shippit and its carrier partners, including Couriers Please and Aramex. Express orders are shipped via Australia Post Express Post. International orders are shipped via DHL.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your parcel. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to appear after dispatch.
Failed Deliveries
If no one is available to accept your parcel, the carrier will leave a card or send a notification with instructions for redelivery or collection from a local depot or post office. Please ensure your delivery address is accurate at checkout — The Lair is not responsible for parcels that cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address.
Shipping Costs
Complimentary standard shipping is available on all domestic orders over $300. Shipping rates for all other orders are calculated at checkout based on the option selected.
Duties & Taxes
All prices displayed on our website include Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) for orders shipped within Australia.
For international orders, prices shown do not include any import duties or taxes that may be applied by customs authorities in the destination country. These costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before placing an international order.
Shipping T&Cs
Once an order has been dispatched and a tracking number issued, responsibility for the parcel passes to the carrier. If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the estimated timeframe, please contact us and we will assist you in lodging an enquiry with the carrier. We recommend shipping to a safe location or a workplace address where possible.
Sustainability
The Lair uses certified commercially compostable post bags, carrying the AS 4736 certification for industrial compostability. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact with every order we send.
