Designed and created lovingly in The Lair stores neighbouring design studio, in Newcastle Australia, The Lairs namesake jewellery collection takes a revered cue from the traditional Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi. A myriad of contrasting design aesthetics and techniques are explored with curiosity to inform the incarnate selection made from 925 sterling silver and 9ct yellow gold. 'Wabi' is said to be defined as 'understated elegance, while 'Sabi' translates to 'taking pleasure in the imperfect'.
