How do I see my order?
You can check your email for details on your order including the style, size, colour and price. We’ll send you an additional email with tracking deets. If it’s not in your Inbox, check your Junk and Spam folders.
How can I place a pre-order?
Pre-orders are items that are not currently in stock but expected at a later date. Pre-orders require full payment to be taken in order to allocate the stock to you. Your order will be sent to you as soon as the product reaches The Lair, and you will receive a postage notification via email.
You can find the estimated arrival date for the item on the product page. Please note that expected delivery dates are approximations. We will be in contact if your delivery is set to arrive sooner or later than expected.
For orders that contain a combination of in-stock item/s and pre-order item/s, these will be shipped separately so you receive your in-stock item/s straight away. Pre-order item/s will be shipped on the date advertised on the description. No additional postage charged will be incurred in these circumstances- yay! Pre-Orders are excluded from promotions.
The item I was after is Sold Out.
If what you want is sold out, let us know - we can see what we can do. Often we’ll have infills on the way or extra sizes in store but not online. Email us, or shoot us a message on Insta and we’ll let you know. If the item is a LAIR product we may be able to have our studio whip one up just for you!
You stock the brand I like, but not the style I want. Can you get it in?
If there is something you have seen from one of our brands that we don't appear to have in stock, we are often able to inquire about placing a special order for the item on your behalf.
We will contact our network of designers and brands to see if your style/ size is available and come back to you with estimates delivery and pricing. If you say ‘yas plz’, we will process payment in full and keep you in the loop through the whole process.
All special orders be paid in full and they are they cannot be returned or exchanged so it’s important to be sure of your size.

Can I change my order?
Maybe! You can request an order change by calling or emailing our team as soon as you realise and we’ll do our best to help out.
If we have already dispatched your order, you will have to follow the Change of Mind return process (read more here).
Can I have my order Gift Wrapped?
All orders are beautifully wrapped in LAIR tissue paper prior to being dispatched. If you would like any alternate gift wrapping, we are happy to accommodate. Please note there may be an additional cost, so get in touch prior to ordering.
How do I know what size to get?
The Lair Size Guide serves as a general guideline for helping you find your size. Our silhouettes vary from slim-fitting to oversized, so each style will have different measurements. If you have questions about a specific style’s measurements, you can always reach out to our happy team on email@example.com. Please include your bust, waist, and high hip/low hip measurements with your note and we’ll help you out.
Can I order a custom size?
All our Lair Leather products are handmade in Australia, so we are often able to tailor our pieces to your need. In fact, we LOVE creating customs! Please get in touch with a description of what you’re after, and we’ll pass it on to our Lair Studio to help out.

How do I care for my leather?
Every Lair leather accessory is made from real leather sustainably sourced from reputable European tanneries. Remember leather is an organic product, so it will need love and care to extend it’s life.
We recommend using a protective spray or cream to help extend the life of your new Lair leather piece. For cowhide or suede, a waterproofing spray can also add an extra layer of protection. If your leather gets wet, let it dry at room temperature (no hair dryers!).
Is there a warranty on Lair Leather?
Yes! LAIR leather accessories are the result of ritualised design, consistency & craftsmanship. Our specialised team use high quality hardware and materials to bring each and every LAIR design to life. With proper care, your Lair Leather will last you a long, long time!
The warranty for your Lair leather piece applies to products used under normal conditions and for the purpose intended and doesn’t apply to damage caused by normal wear and tear, or neglect. All items will need to be inspected by the team in our Leather Studio, and we’ll keep you regularly updated through this process. We’ll cover postage as long as the fault is not deemed 'customer incurred'.
6 month warranty on leather
In the unlikely event that you have a defect in material (i.e. leather or fur) that will affect the structural integrity of the product within 6 months of purchase, we’ll repair the product. If the issue is unrepairable we will replace your Lair piece.
12 month warranty on craftsmanship & hardware
In the rare event that there is a defect in craftsmanship or hardware within 12 months of purchase, our Leather Studio will either repair the area (eg. zipper), or replace your piece with a new one. Easy!
