Argentium noun. 1 Argentium silver is a variety of tarnish-resistant silver alloy, containing 93.5% silver. Argentium alloys replace part of the copper in the sterling silver alloy, which is traditionally 92.5% silver + 7.5% copper, with the metalloid germanium.
